OUR story
Eugenio Leijten, the founder and owner of i3D Media, initially had a background in software development. However, after selling his business, Retail Technology Limited, to a publicly traded company about nine years ago, he decided to explore the creative side of the IT industry. Over time, i3D Media's services evolved significantly. Initially marketed under the brand DRONOGRAFI.com, the company's work expanded beyond the development of drone-related projects. They began assisting clients with the development of web strategies and successfully translating them into thriving websites, social media campaigns, and immersive content. One notable aspect of their content offerings is the integration of Virtual Tours, which has allowed i3D Media to introduce immersive user interaction. Previously, viewers would passively watch videos and provide minimal feedback in the form of simple likes. However, with Virtual Tours, users can actively engage with the content, adding a new dimension to their experience. A good example of this is the Blackdown Shepherd Hut’s Garden tour. i3D Media, located in the picturesque Blackdown Hills of Somerset, utilises a comprehensive IT infrastructure centered around Apple Macs. These powerful machines are equipped with cutting-edge software packages that cater to various needs. For video editing, i3D Media relies on the industry-leading software Final Cut Pro X, ensuring high-quality and professional results. When it comes to image editing, they utilise a combination of Affinity and Adobe Creative Cloud, enabling them to produce visually stunning content. Additionally, i3D Media leverages 3DVista for creating immersive virtual tours. While i3D Media is based in the Blackdown Hills of Somerset, their services extend far beyond the local region. They proudly serve clients nationwide, offering their expertise in web development. Their web development projects primarily revolve around Wix Studio, enabling them to create visually appealing and functional websites for their clients across the country. Eugenio takes on the roles of sales and project management within i3D Media. However, he is supported by a dedicated team of specialists who excel in the creative and site development aspects of the business. This diverse team brings a wealth of expertise and experience to i3D Media, allowing them to deliver exceptional results to their clients. In addition to their core team, i3D Media also collaborates with freelance workers when specific client requirements arise. This flexible approach ensures that they can assemble a specialised team tailored to the unique needs of each project.
